Scholarship

ADW Department is implementing various educational scholarship schemes from 1st Std to PG & Ph.D degree. The prime objective of this department is to provide quality education to SC, ST and SCC people to ensure socio-economic, educational development and social dignity.

All Compulsory and non-refundable fees, payable to Govt./Govt aided schools and colleges are sanctioned as scholarship along with maintenance allowance.

Fees fixed by the committee are also exempted for the students studying in self financing colleges. These students are also sanctioned maintenance allowance

Maintenance Charges:

Day Scholars: Rs.230/- to Rs.550/- per month.

Hostellers: Rs.380/- to Rs.1200/- per month.

  2. Parent / Guardian’s Annual income is upto Rs.2.50 lakhs (Gross income of all sources will be taken into account)

2 Government of India Pre-Matric Scholarship Scheme for the children of those engaged in unclean occupation.

Children of those parents engaged in unclean occupation such as Scavenging, Tanning, Flaying, Waste Picking.

5 Overseas Scholarship:

Who aspire to take up research studies in aboard in the field of: Engineering, Technology and other,
Science disciplines are encouraged to go abroad to study Ph.D

6 Incentive for Full time Ph.D Scholar Students pursuing full time Ph.D courses in recognized institutions are awarded with incentive of Rs.50000/- Per annum.

7 State Special Post-Matric Scholarship (beyond X std):

All compulsory and non refundable fees payable to Government and Government aided institutions
along with maintenance allowance are sanctioned as scholarship.

From the academic year 2012-2013 onwards, fees fixed by the committee are also exempted studying in self-financing colleges.
These students are also sanctioned with maintenance allowance.

Maintenance Charges:

Day Scholars: Rs.100/- to Rs.175/- per month

Hostellers: Rs.175/- to Rs.350/- per month

  1. Should be scheduled castes converted to Christianity.
  2. Parent / Guardian annual income is upto Rs. 2 lakhs.
  3. In respect of Government servants, DA should not be included while reckoning income.

  4. The selected best writers will be awarded Rs.40,000/- for their writings.

The SC & ST (POA)Act-2015 and Rules – 2016 to prevent atrocities on the SCs and STs. To protect SC and ST against the riots.

  2. Basic pension to the widow or other dependents of deceased persons belonging to SC or ST amounting to Rs.5000 per month as applicable to a Government servant with admissible D.A and employment to one of the family members of the deceased and provision of agricultural land and house, etc.
